What Pub Link Problem

There seems to be a problem here in that none of the links work. I deleted the first one I came across the Denmead Queen in Waterlooville assuming it was a one off wrong one. It looks like the problem may be that the What Pub links are now https: rather than http: but I've no idea what the difference is!

It doesn't seem to be the https: change; instead, it looks like they have added to the pub name after the reference number in the examples I've checked.

If Dave manages to find a bit of spare time, I imagine that a fairly automated update could be done.

I did notice that as well. I assume that there is a script that picks up What Pub links automatically. Given some of the differences in pub names between the two sites I can see this being a real problem.

it seems to be back to normal now!

Noticed that a number of WP links now have the prefix of being the 'official' site of the pub!

That's what happens if it's entered manually because the automatic system hasn't picked it up.

I've added quite a lot recently, but I can't change the prefix.

You should be able to over-type "The Official Site of XXX" with "CAMRA WhatPub"?
