    Dorchester only.

Eight Arch -- Bowstring Bitter *
    Great Newsome -- Holderness Dark
Everards -- Defender ('spoons International brewer range)
    Brewhouse (Dorchester) -- Judge Jeffrey
    Ringwood -- Boon Doggle

Not a great list but BOTW was Eight Arch Bowstring Bitter a decent session ale in fine nick in the Blue Raddle.

Next week Portishead and Bristol if the wind dies down.

    Adnams Mosaic
    Darkstar Hophead
    Oakham JHB
    Camerons Ahop-alypse-now
    Thwaites Wainwright
By The Horns Stiff Upper Lip

Didnt dislike any of these although the Thwaites offering is a bit run of the mill , Oakham take the prize this week with a very sessionable JHB (more than three pints).

I've been liberal with the asterisks as otherwise only beers tried in Huddersfield would be considered. Despite that the three Rat beers are head and shoulders above the opposition I find it very difficult to chose between them so when in doubt go for the strongest and it's the Rat Ratsputin. This is billed as an Imperial Russian Stout but is way too weak for that and is more like a strong dry stout as it is very heavily hopped. It was £3.45 in the Huddersfield Rat & Ratchet.

Neepsend Blonde. A light, hoppy 4% session ale brewed with Citra, Brewers Gold & Mosaic.

Perfect for a Summers evening session in The Baum.
