To be fair, I can see why the KIT keeps doing so well -if Dave introduced a secret Spinal Tap rating, I'd be giving the place an 11.

Which reminds me that I really must get up to Sheffield again in the New Year.

We're in Sheffield again between Xmas & New Year.

I'll pass my commiserations on to Trevor at the KIT,
he certainly doesn't want his pub "f**ked up" again,
he's made that clear to us on several occasions.

In fact I might just email him to wind him up.

I note that two of these pubs don't have any reviews, and I suspect the converse is that some of our (PuG regulars') own point of view there will be favourites that are under-visited by CAMRA.

Should we have our own POTY award?

I'm planning a visit to The Drovers Rest Inn when Luton play Carlisle in April.

How judge, though? I guess those of us who replied to your 2015 Mobys thread have named theirs so that's a fair list.

Just checked the reviews and we were impressed with the pub of the year when we were there in November 2013.
Alcohol doesn't solve problems .... but then again, neither does milk.

Done. And we won 2-1, which was a bonus.
