    Reasonable week

    Elgoods -- Straw Bitter *
    Belhaven -- Grand Slam
    Oakham -- Inferno *
    Ampthill Brewhouse -- IPA
    Nobby's -- Plum Porter (keg)
    Mordue -- Wheat *
    Salopian -- Darwins Origin *
    Titanic -- Plum Porter *

I'm always nominating Titanic Plum Porter ,so to avoid being repetative BOTW goes to Mordue Wheat ,very refreshing and in good nick in The George,Croydon.

Next week a voyage through Warwick,Knowle and Birmingham so consumption will rise and hopefully there will be several quality BOTW contenders.

Kent, and my first visit to an East Kent Micropub:
    Tonbridge-Coppernob 3.8abv-Farmyard malt and a long spicy finish.Enjoyed at Bell & Jorrocks
Kent-Session Pale 3.7abv-A delicious, zesty pale ale, taken at some speed at Black Dog My BOTW.

A couple of leisurely days out this week with some good beers tried :-

    Holden's Black Country Mild 3.7%*
    Grainstore Rutland Osprey 4.0%
    Nobby's Swift Nick 4.2%
    Wychwood Hobgoblin Gold 4.2%*
    Adnam's Oyster Stout 4.3%*
    Lymestone Stonefish Mild 4.4%
    Wadworth's 6X Gold 4.5%
    Oakham St Bibiana 4.5%*
    Full Mash Nevermore Stout 4.6%*
    Oakham Bishop's Farewell 4.6%
    Enville Ginger 4.6%*
    Otter Fusion 4.8%
    Exmoor XPA 4.8%
    Hanlon's Port Stout 4.9%*
    Grainstore 1050 5.0%
    Millstone True Grit 5.0%*
Bristol Beer Factory Bitter Kiwi 5.0%*
    Brodie's Californian 5.0%*
    Holden's Special 5.1%*
    Brodie's Jamaican Stout 5.4%*
    Potbelly Crazy Daze 5.5%
Celt Experience Galaxy Equinox IPA 5.6%*
    Dark Star Revelation 5.7%
    Brodie's Mocha Milk Stout 9.0%*

It's a straight fight between the BFf Kiwi in the Wolverhampton Great Western and the Celt Experience IPA in my local Spoons. The Celt Experience Galaxy Equinox IPA just edges it . It was freshly on in the E4 King's Ford at £2.49 and was superb. I assume it's on the current JDW guest list so it is likely to appear in a Spoons in the next three months.

    Very quiet week for me.

    Rat - White Rat. *
    Fernandes - Mosaic.*
    Roosters - Buckeye.
    Liverpool Organic - Kitty Wilkinson.*

Not much in it between the Rat and Mosaic, but as I've nominated the former quite a few times, I'll give the honours to the latter.

Pretty decent week with remaining pubs in Banbury and Berkhamsted successfully ticked:

    Hook Norton Hooky (3.5%)
    Red Squirrel Conservation Bitter (3.7%)
    Tring Brock Bitter (3.7%)
    3 Brewers Golden Ale (3.8%)
    Jennings Queen Bee (3.8%)
    Prescott Spring Season's Best (3.8%)
    Ringwood Razorback (3.8%)
    Tring Dragon Rapide (3.8%)
    XT 4 (3.8%)
    Haresfoot Sundial (4.0%)
    Sharps Doom Bar (4.0%)
    Tring Drop Bar (4.0%)
    Adnams Southwold Bitter (4.1%)
    Loose Cannon Recoil (4.2%)
    XT 15 (4.5%)
    Animal Chitter (4.6%)
    Charles Wells Bombardier (4.7%)
    Ilkley Holy Cow (4.7%) BOTW
    Red Squirrel Erasmus (4.7%)
Hatherwood (Wychwood) The Purple Panther (5.0%) (bottle)
    Beavertown Smog Rocket (5.4%) (can)
Beavertown Holy Cowbell India Stout (5.6%) (can)

In a week where I sampled loads of differing styles, the Holy Cow came up trumps (although I am partial to a dark beer): as tried at the impressive Red Squirrel Brewery Shop in Berko.

Following on from Mr. Real Ale Ray last week. A fellow of impeccable taste.
