    A slim week

    Darkstar Hophead
    Oakham Citra
    Clearwater Real Smiler
    Batemans Hooker
    Doom Bore

Although the Batemans was quite good despite the Rugby theme it has to be Oakham Citra as BOTW for the second week.

A poor week with several bottles going down but just a few cask ales.

    Hydes -- Bruges
Shepherd Neame -- Hog Island APA
    New River -- Riverbed Red

BOTW goes to New River Riverbed Red ,a decent stab at a red ale served in good nick in The Duncombe Arms,Hertford.New River is a recent start up from Hoddesdon and their ale is popping up around the area,I will keep an eye out for them in future.

Next week the usual stop in The Boat,Stoke Bruerne and the Hull crawl which should produce a long list of fine ale.

Only one pub visit this week due to work so it has to be Brass Castle Toffee Coffee Cream Ale a bit thin and I tasted coffee but no toffee, still a beer from Brass Castle has to be a contender any week.

BOTW Dr. Morton's Alphabetti Forghetti. At 4.1% like a Moonshine light which went down well on a sunny afternoon.
