Sorry, this is re wine, rather than MILD, fest, but subject probably doesn't warrant new thread.
I noticed, yesterday, during a brief (weak choice & quality) visit to jdw Ledger Building that their forthcoming wine festival is to be themed on wines from countries which have won the World Cup. Come June they should be virtually giving away the Chateau de Brasilia, & Grand Cru d'Uruguay!

It does give an opportunity to try some English wines at a reasonable price - I have had some quite pleasant English wine but they are usually far too expensive.

Herefordshire and Worcestershire have some very good vineyards. Not to my taste but its horses for courses. Knowing my taste in wine it would probably be casting pearls before swine and a complete waste of money.
    Chateau du Paintstripper every time.
