    Default York beer festival

Love this festival, but have 2 dates for the start, and wonder if anyone can confirm if it is 13 September or 20 September. Festival page on here not coming up.

I believe it's the 13th September but I can ask someone who works there when I see him on Monday evening.
    There are many diseases,
    that strike people's kneeses,
    Covid19! is one by name
    It comes from the East
    Packed in bladders of yeast
So the Chinese must take half the blame.

Thanks that will be great as we had the caravan booked in for 13th and changed the dates to 20th but have not had either date verified anywhere. Their CAMRA site seems to have them still in the planning stage for 2016!!

    Received this email

Happy New Year to you and may we all at York Beer & Cider Festival wish you the very best for 2017.

We want to thank you for supporting our festival in 2016 which turned out to be a great success with visitor numbers up and revenue up as well to cover all our costs and make a modest profit to go back into CAMRA’s coffers for national campaigning as we're a not for profit organisation and run the festival entirely with volunteers.

We’re fully intending to do it all again this year and although we have to finalise details with York Racecourse and get our budget approved by CAMRA HQ as we do every year – we fully expect that the festival will happen from Wednesday September 20th – Saturday 23rd 2017 at the same location – so put those dates in the diary.

We will be back in touch with the latest information once the organising committee has its first meeting of 2017 later in January.

In the meantime – take time to support your local pubs and breweries in January – a time when they need you most given the usual quiet post-Xmas trading conditions.

    Best Regards
