    Default Hungerford Club

Ive just had a look at this Club The Hungerford Club and there is no warnings about me not being
able to go in it without reading the review,i am not a camra member and will never cart a heavy real ale guide round with me.

A long way for you to go to not be allowed in Al, I'd give it a miss personaly.

I always feel odd about going into membership clubs, with or without the GBG, or Camra membership. I'm not really sure why they are in here (or the GBG), but I know that the subject has been chewed over more than once!

I think the point Al is making is that there is no warning banner indicating that it is a club. Both clubs I have added have received this treatment which I wholly endorse. One that was subsequently added did not. Why is this?
In addition I think that any clubs added should include opening times within a review, unless they bear some resemblance to normal pub hours.

I've suffered the same inconvenience at 3 different micropubs within the last week. I'm not sure what can be done about it, though, other than calling ahead or checking their website/FB page if you intend to visit.

The Warning is now up on the Hungerford Clubs front page.

Thanks to whoever did this quick correction.

Is it worth suggesting a tick box on the 'Add a Pub' form which would automatically add the banner when the suggestion is approved?

And at risk of opening the floodgates - brewery shops, micros, hotels?

To be fair there are many pubs now (certainly in London) that don't open until late afternoon or early evening, traditional opening times are becoming a thing of the past.
