104 'Spoons, but only 20 micros - I've got some catching up to do.

That's really Herne village. I agree it's a good one but I've preferred others. It's difficult choosing a "best" of any category unless you've only been to a few!

I'm surprised to find I'm only just behind you with the micropubs. My count today is 126. Given that the total on this site is now over 400 and increasing we're both miles away from even approaching getting round all of them. My priority this year is to find a date and time when the weather is right for the one on Claygate Station!

Just the Devon 7 to go in England now :-

    Open Spoons visited 853
    Open Spoons not visited 16
    Airport Spoons 16

    Total 885

With two opening in Norfolk next month but closures still in the pipeline, they are short of the 900 UK outlets often quoted, not least by the company itself. If you strip out the five Eire ones and the airside airport ones it's around 870.

You probably qualify for some kind of award - or at least a free Pug T-Shirt (Dave?)
