Hmmm....
The Plumbers Arms - had something dreadful here the other day for probably somewhere getting close to £3.00 for a half.
The Rochester Castle (JD Wetherspoon) - much improved since virtually all the previous reviews, but now very much stocking mainly local ales and in top condition over several recent revisits, at £1.99 a pint, so probably £1.00 a half.
The Victorian Craft Beer Cafe in Halifax has Omnippolo barrel aged Mammut 12.0 on at £30 a pint
its cheap up north.
Right spot picked: The Queens Head - Had a half each of Redemption's Trinity and Fellowship London Porter last night, for only £1.70 and £1.85, which is about the same price as Ray's review from nearly seven years ago; both in fantastic shape too, the London Porter being superb.
The Chelsea Pig - a half of Menabrea Blonda for £3.74, so around £7.45 for a pint?
The Enterprise - a half of Staropramen for £3.90; a new record?
Tapping the Admiral - £4.00 for a pint of Kent Brewery Mad Cow Imperial Milk Stout. Not bad for a 7.4% beer in London.
