Last night at the Hackney Tap:
Redemption - APA: £3.80
Marble - Manchester: £4.00
Interestingly the factory-made Marble clip's mission statement reads: 'Cask conditioned beer produced to drinking standards.' - so reassuring.

Three pints of Darkstar Hophead in The Harp, at £1.76pp, to celebrate Fullers 176years brewing (apparently). Worth registering for the voucher and the train (now free) up to town.
I had asked about the qualifying beers at the outset and was advised just Hophead and Pride but others, appearing to be more regular than I, were, I think, given greater leeway by the other barman. I was satisfied with my brief smash&grab though.
Sorry I didn't post it on the bargains thread, I forgot until last moment decision to get going.
You were hard done by - the Sanctuary House Hotel and Barrowboy & Banker were selling all their Asahi cask beers at £1.76, including the 6.5% Dark Star Green Hop in the former and the Jack Frost winter ale in the latter.
It is indeed a great walk, and a nice pub, but I'm glad it's not my local..
"Local ales on tap include Harvey’s Sussex Best bitter (£5.50 a pint) "
