Landlord @ £5.30 a pint the other night. The culprit: Windsor Castle

Actually I forgot about that and didn't see any raffle.Lots of people didn't know about the first pint free either.

£5.10 for a pint of 3.9% Vocation Bread & Butter, not bad for London you may say but this was in Halifax where you'd expect to pay well under £3 a pint.

I've had a rule for many years now for both TT and Batham's to only drink their beers in one of their tied houses. I've only very occasionally broken this rule. If the price of Landlord wasn't advertised in this pub then I would have walked.

In London, £5.10 a pint is very rare and of course, a con. But pro rata that sounds like the worst rip-off I've ever heard of - on balance that's worse than the improper £5.20 I paid for a pint of Proper Job the other night in The The Prince Alfred . Would you be prepared to name and shame the culprit?
