    That Quinno gets everywhere.

    When I was in The George I picked up a copy of Ullage West Berks Camra magazine only to find a quote from Quinten Taylor (Reading) who had reportedly visited 180 pubs in Berkshire in 2015. Stating "Five years ago there'd be no way you'd have ten people going from Reading to Newbury to find good pubs serving decent ale, it would definitely have been the other way around."

    He'll be on TV next...

    I've since added a little extra in the comments of the blog piece:

    As an addendum, I had an email convo with the pub's owner yesterday after I forwarded the email exchanges I had with Clouded Minds;

    "It did have a slight haze to both barrels though although we were under the impression that Clouded Minds were a brewery that doesn't use finings (I'm sure the distributer we used to order them through used to warn us of this) so didn't think much of it [...] We are going to devise little stickers (probably with Bear with his thumb in the air!) to stick on the front of the pumpclips to advise people if the beer is unfined, and also put some info on the blackboards too."

    So a battlefield win, I think! And fair play to the Nags Head (for it is they) for being pro-active. As I said to them in reply, it's a simple thing that makes life easier for both punters and staff.

    Seems to be kicking off in the comments quite nicely...
