    A fair week,

Mad Dog Now In A Minute*
Mad Dog Bark Like A Bird*
    Hopcraft Crema Extrema Vanilla*
    Art Brew Milk Stout*
    Oakham Citra*
    Theakstons Lightfoot
    Darwin Mr Bumble
    Shepherd Neame Whitstable Bay
    Youngs Bitter
    Fullers Olivers Island
Bowmans Sava* BOTW , a dangerously drinkable IPA at 6.5%.

Should get some decent beer next Tuesday if I manage to get up that London as planned.

    Reasonable week.

    Fullers -- ESB
    St Peters -- Honey Porter
St Peters -- Organic Best Bitter *
St Peters -- Ruby Red Ale *
St Peters -- Fruit Beer (Grapefruit) * 3PT
Meantime -- London Pale Ale (keg)
    White Park -- Moonshine

BOTW goes to St Peters Fruit Beer (Grapefruit) which was on great form in The Jerusalem Tavern and passed the three pint test with ease.

After a minor refurb which took much longer than expected, boating starts again next week with a visit to Congleton, which looks excellent on the ale front.

A good week for me apart from having to endure a pint of Doom Bore which was sweet and extremely boring.

    Oakham JHB 3.8%
    Sharp's Doom Bore 4.0%
    Brewster's Hoptical Illusion 4.0%
    Elgood's Golden Newt 4.1%
    Ramsbury Ramsberry 4.2%
    Woodforde's Norfolk Champion 4.2%
    Hop Stuff Centennial Pale 4.2%
    Everard's Schlafly Pale Ale 4.4%
    Twickenham Summer Sun 4.4%*
Wild Card Jack Of Clubs 4.5%
Brew Buddies Single Hop Mosaic Pale 4.5%
    Redemption Hopspur 4.5%
    Adnam's Topaz Gold 4.5%
    Loddon Green Bullet 4.6%*
    Bexley Black Prince Porter 4.6%*
    Fat Cat Cougar 4.7%
Dark Star American Pale Ale 4.7%
    Itchen Valley Pure Gold 4.8%*
    Brewster's Artemis 4.8%
    Hackney Raspberry Wheat (Keykeg) 5.0%
Wild Card Queen Of Diamonds IPA 5.0%*
    Kelham Island Pale Rider 5.2%*
    Grainstore Rutland Beast 5.3%*
    Tydd Steam Mind Bomb 5.5%*
    Two Rivers Norfolk Stout 5.8%*
    Thornbridge Jaipur IPA 5.9%*

It's a fairly tough choice from several this week but I'll go for the Wild Card Queen Of Diamonds IPA which is normally just kegged nowadays. It was £3.60 in the Brewery Tap and is a strong candidate for the most bitter 5% beer I've ever tried.

    Quiet week for me.

    Stamps - Galaxy.
    Welbeck Abbey - Portland Black.
    Two Roses - Marynka.
    Roosters - Blind Jack.
    Tigertops - Graveyard Shift.*
    Bob's - Silver Bullet.*
    Kelham Island - Atomic Blonde.
    Five Towns - Middle 'Un.*

Middle 'Un is another very tasty pale beer from Five Towns, made with Perle, Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic hops. It would have easily passed the three pint test, if the missus hadn't dragged me prematurely from Harry's Bar!

    Late entry:

    Towcester Bell Ringer
    Rat The Ratnificent 7
    Blue Monkey Ape Ale
Jo C's Knot Just Another IPA
    Brancaster Oystercatcher

All of these were very good and it's a close run thing this week.
BOTW Rat Brewery - The Ratnificent 7. Just shades the Ape Ale simply on the basis that it's a new beer for me. Looks like a BBB but it isn't and is packed with hops and very quaffable at 4.7%.

Haven't seen that on my travels, recently. Will have to keep my eyes peeled.
