Add new links not working

I've always wondered about adding links and Blackthorn confirmed that there is a magical button that I seem to be missing when logged in.



Any ideas why I don't see it or anybody else suffer the same issue?

I've never been able to add links (apart from the new pub screen) and have given up on it!

Well this is odd as it now has the button. Dave doing something out of sight? My laptop forced me to login after posting and I was on the main site but now showing on phone too without a forced login.

Sorry, couldn't resist sneaking it in.

Basically several years ago we restricted use of the add link feature to people we knew were reliable link submitters as we were getting loads of marketing people signing up and submitting all sorts of rubbish. Only problem is that I've never updated the list. Now added yourself and aqualung, I'll try to take a look at the list and see who else I'm missing at some point.

That explains it then, didn't realise it was elitist. Thanks for adding me.

Note some pubs are getting Pub Type added in the pub details. Churchill House Nice feature too.

Drop and drag on pictures too, may speed up bulk uploads.

I now have the button and have tried adding a couple of links. I always suspected that the reason I didn't have it before was something along those lines.
One question, can I add a What Pub link? When it gets approved will the system recognise it as such and give it the correct label?

Sadly the system isn't that clever yet. It is on my to do list.
