I enjoyed reading your review. The Warrington was my local 81-83 and I well remember that hazardous dash to the roundabout, with several pints in hand! The Friday night car cruisers would often show off by going round several times, which certainly kept you on your toes. In those days the local celeb that propped up the bar was Les Gray (lead singer with seventies band Mud).
