    Darkstar Hophead
    Darkstar American Pale Ale
    Stella (Lager)
    Shefford Dark Mild
    Castle Rock Presevation
    Redcat Mr M's Porter
    Redcat Tomcat
    Hop Back World Hop Medly
    Otter Bitter
    Firebird Heritage xx

Best beer by a country mile was Redcat Mr M's Porter, definitely premier league stuff, passed the 10 pint test with ease, spread over two days of course. Well maybe two and a half.

Only a small selection this week :-

    Whitstable Renaissance Ruby Mild 3.8%*
Shepherd Neame Whistable Bay Pale 3.9%
    Dark Star Partridge Best 4.0%
    Harvey's Best Bitter 4.0%
    Backyard Blonde 4.1%*
    Naylor's Chicade 4.5%*
    St Austell Proper Job 4.5%*
    Elephant School Woolly Mammoth 4.7%
    Red Squirrel English IPA 5.0%
    Adnam's / Sixpoint Make It Rain 5.0%*
    Banks's Feral Hop Hog 5.6%*

I had my first pint of Proper Job in good nick this week and while it was good it didn't blow me away. I've had numerous better ones from smaller breweries but will get some bottles from Tesco to try. The Hop Hog was again the outstanding beer but to avoid a repeat I'm going for the Whitstable Mild as tried for £2.40 in the Tonbridge Humphrey Bean. It's a proper mild and the only beer I've had from this brewery that I have really enjoyed.

    BOTW Whitstable Renaissance Ruby Mild

    A few pints,none exceptional.

    Marston's -- Pedigree
    Purity -- UBU
    Everards -- Tiger
    St Austell -- Tribute
    Hogs Back -- TEA

BOTW goes to Everard's Tiger ,a reliable session beer on good form in The White Horse,Curdworth.

Next week a day at the test match, will have to see what's on at Lords.

    This week:

Peroni (it was hot and the choice was limited)
    Purity UBU
    Everards Tiger*
    St. Austell Tribute
    Marston's Pedigree
    Dr. Morton's Safety Beer*
    Oakham Bishops Farewell*

BOTW Dr. Morton's Safety Beer. Pale and refreshing at 4.1% like a 6V version of Bishop's. Ideal on a warm day for slaking the thirst before moving up to 12V.
