    Indigenous- Monocle Stout
    Windsor and Eton- Conqueror*
    Phoenix- White Monk*
    Phoenix- West Coast IPA*
    Dancing Man- Congo Driftwood*
    Red Cat- Scratch*
    Staggeringly Good- VelociRapture*
    Vibrant Forest-Cydonia
Vibrant Forest- Radicale-Oat and Coffee Stout*
    Green Jack- Lurcher Stout

    Wild Weather -Mudslinger*
    Wadsworth- Swordfish

    Butcombe- Rare Breed

Some very strong competition this week, but the best of a very good bunch comes from a Brewer I have been rather indifferent about to date but this beer just blew me away, Wild Weather Mudslinger a very moreish chocolate milk stout enjoyed very much in the equally excellent Fullflood Arms a strong contender for pub of the month, with York yet to come,we will see.

Not much of a week as I've only been in Spoons for the festival :-

    Elgood's Spring Challenge 3.7%
    Bath Cobblestone 3.8%
    Hydes Paddock Wood 4.2%
    Wadworth's Dungarven Irish Stout 4.5%
    Shepherd Neame Boadicea IPA 5.0%
    Marston's Barley Brown's ESA 5.1%
    RCH Boadicea 5.3%
Bateman's Shongweni Durban Pale Ale 5.7%
Shepherd Neame Cerveceria Fort English IPA 5.8%
    Wychwood Lighthouse Shipwreck IPA 6.5%
    Welton's Churchillian 6.6%

I've found this festival rather dull to be honest. The fact they've restricted the brews to just British hops hasn't helped and all the pubs seem to have the same stuff on.
The runaway winner is the Welton's Churchillian, a beer that seemed fairly similar to Elland 1872 Porter. I thought Wadworth's did a decent job with the Irish Stout.

More ale than I expected, mainly due to a blizzard of pubs following Al 10000s' lead around Walthamstow

    Wild Weather -- Mudslinger *
    Big Smoke -- Solaris *
Big Smoke -- American Amber *
Canopy Beer Co -- Full Moon Porter
    Dark Star -- Hophead
    Hogs Back -- TEA
    Archers -- Single Hop
Brodies -- Bethnal Green Bitter *
    Sharps -- Doom Bar
    Summerskills -- Westward Ho!
    Adnams -- Southwold Bitter
Wild Card -- Queen of Diamonds IPA*
Bishop Nick -- Hop Cross *
    Timothy Taylor -- Landlord
    Rudgate -- Brew 15
John Smith -- Bitter (Smoothflow crap)
    Woodforde -- Wherry
    Black Wolf -- Rok IPA
Head in a Hat -- Doctor Brown

BOTW goes to Big Smoke American Amber ,not shy with those yankee hops and in great nick in The Rake

Next week not as hectic, some action around Hertford with boat repairs still impeding progress on the canal.

    Another one pub week:
Musket-Trigger 3.6%abv."Kentish Pale Ale".Tongue rasping session ale.Nettley hops (not specified, also 4 types of unnamed malt.)I'd hoped to find some Hophead, but this was a good replacement.Taken in the distinctly non Fools and Horses The Milk House

    Yet another quiet week.

Ilkley - Hickory Redcap (Pecan Porter).*
    Great Heck - Chopper.
    Fernandes - Lime Lite.
Kelham Island - Pride of Sheffield.
    Five Towns - Old Norrell.*
    Titanic - Stout.*
    Moorhouses - Pride of Pendle.

Hopefully, York will prove a little more cathartic, after a prolonged quiet spell.

Redwillow Faithless XLI. I'd had Faithless before, but this is a different brew.

Needless to say it's Extra Light and at 4.1% went down a treat several times in The Baum last week.
