oh look, a Yorkshire cask champion and one of my favourite breweries too. Good showing by Salopian, another favourite.

I've had the Burnout and Darwin's Origin in the overall winners. I don't remember being overly impressed by the Burnout but may have beeen grumpy due to the price of it. I had Darwin's Origin in a Spoons this year and it was very good. Ruby Jane is also on the current guest list but was it a mild??? My vague recollection was of an above average red ale but maybe I got my wires crossed!
As for the rest there are 3 or 4 that I've tried.
Seems like they were judging cask and keg together as I have only seem Shipyard pale and Twickenham -Tusk on keg.As always too many surprises for my liking.Had the Severn vale-nibley ale on our Bristol trip and was one of the worst beers of the day.
Can't remember if there was an older pump clip but this is the current one,

It doesn't really strike me as a mild either especially when compared to say, Rudgate Ruby Mild a previous prize winner
