A mixed week with decent ale in Oxford but then some shoddy pints in pubs where there was a distinct case of TINA.

Animal Brewing -- Bastard Bunny Brew Ha Ha.* (in collaberation with MoogBrew )
    XT -- 6*
    Dark Star -- Hophead
    Wye Valley -- Butty Bach.(3PT)
    Greene King -- Abbott
    Charles Wells -- Courage Directors

BOTW goes to an excellent Animal Brewing Bastard Bunny Brew Ha Ha ,a 7.2% double IPA in St Aldates Tavern,Oxford and pushing for BOTY so far.

Only the one visit, only the one beer:
Old Dairy Blue Top 4.8%abv.OK but have had better. The slight dissapointment with the beer was assuaged by public bar talk of a new micro pub coming soon.

A decent list with one final day in North Wales and an extended stop in the Great Western on the way back :-

    Brain's Hancock's HB 3.6%
    Holden's Black Country Mild 3.7%*
    Holden's Black Country Bitter 3.8%*
    Banks's Bitter 3.8%
    Hackney Golden Ale 4.0%
    Robinson's Voodoo Dawn 3.9%
West Berks Good Old Boy 4.0%*
    Llyn Cwrw Glyndwr 4.0%
    Purple Moose Cwrw Glaslyn 4.2%*
    Nelson Powder Monkey 4.3%
    Great Orme Orme 4.3%*
    Great Orme Celtica 4.5%*
    Truman's Attaboy 4.6%
    Hook Norton Old Hooky 4.6%*
    Phoenix Double Gold 5.0%
    Salopian Golden Thread 5.0%*
    Ludlow Stairway 5.0%*
    Holden's Special 5.1%*
Adnam's Nils Oscar India Ale 5.3%
    Marston's Old Empire 5.7%*
    Elland 1872 Porter 6.5%*

The top of the tree is really the Elland Porter but I've voted for that at least once recently so it's the Salopian Golden Thread which was £3.10 in the Great Western.

Not a brewery I usually seek out but Great Yorkshire (nee Cropton) Chocolate Orange was rather nice.

    Unfortunately, yet another quiet week.

    Kelham Island - Pale Rider.
    Salamander - Divine Retribution.
    Blakemere - Freshly Squeezed.*
    Buntingford - Crystal.
    Fernandes - Cascade Torrent.*
    Fernandes - 10 Degrees.*
    J33 - Winter Pale.
    Salamander - Golden Salamander.
    Phoenix - Wobbly Bob.
Brown Cow - Thriller in Vanilla.

Surprisingly, not a lot excited me out of that lot. The Blakemere seemed to have the most oomph.
