    Me first then?

Hunny Bunny, had it first time today in the newly re-opened Victory on the Hard at Portsmouth. The name was a bit off putting, but it was a very nice pint, light golden. This initial taste was a bit sharp, but it certainly grew on me, and if I had not got a bus to catch another would have gone down a treat. From same stable as Betty Stogs

One for me to look out for on my Cornish visit

http://www.skinnersbrewery.com/shop/beers some cracking beer names there as well

Thought it might be a Skinners Easter offering, but we had it in Truro Spoons in June last year so you might be lucky.

All I have had this week so far is an iffy Pedigree with my carvery dinner today. An eatery rather than a pub, so it is NOT my BOTW.

Will get round Birmingham centre tomorrow so should find something.

Had a rather pleasant little pub crawl through Sowerby Bridge yesterday.

Excellent beer in 4 of the 5 pubs visited. BOTW is already a difficult choice and it's only Tuesday.

Bardia from Newby Wyke tried at the famous Puzzle Hall Inn is leading so far.

With the 'Spoons Fest starting this week (and already started for some of us) there should be some quite interesting BotW's coming up, especially since most of us will have a chance of sampling them at some stage - could be a few arguments coming up! I also have the Bexley Beer Festival this Thursday so I don't think I will be short of nominations this week.

The Jarrow Brewery’s Rivet Catcher is an early contender.

After a heavy week in Manchester, Newcastle & Edinburgh I'm struggling to remember what I had where. So Bardia wins for last week.

A better week for drinking this week, my BOTW is without parallel this week - Derventio Anubius drunk in the Fly in the Loaf, Liverpool - a pub Sans Pareil, but then I didn't get to Manchester this week .

(There might be a prize here if anyone gets the allusions).

I would say my best Beer this week was Okells Alt 5% At the Wetherspoons festival. It was a hard choice between The Okells Alt & few others but the Okells was definitely my favourite.

The 17 I had at the Bexley Beer Festival all seemed to run into each other so nothing particularly stood out and I have had a disatrous week in Wetherspoons since the festival started. Had a couple of decent ales in Kingston on Saturday but I think I will go for the Fremlins Bitter brewed by Shepherd Neame, simply because it far surpassed what I was expecting.
