I fell for that one at the Cross Keys as well, didn't even like the beer. They also had a festival flyer on the Ruddles pump, pretty poor for JDW's flagship

Excellent beer in 4 of the 5 pubs visited. BOTW is already a difficult choice and it's only Tuesday.

Bardia from Newby Wyke tried at the famous Puzzle Hall Inn is leading so far.
After a heavy week in Manchester, Newcastle & Edinburgh I'm struggling to remember what I had where. So Bardia wins for last week.

    Now for this week
A pub is for life not just for Christmas

I did however find an interesting beer in the Old Fountain at Old Street. It was Dark Star Saison, described on the clip as a Belgian-Style Farmhouse Ale, very tasty and, at only 4.5%, very drinkable. You don’t see many English brewers attempting a Saison so well done to Dark Star.
I possibly wasn't clear enough as I've just noticed I don't appear on the list but my BotW for w/e 11 April was the Dark Star Saison.

My BOTW goes to excellent Brew Dog's Trashy Blonde. I had a pint of Fremlins which everyone was raving on about but I thought it was rather average and nothing special.

I think you posted to wrong thread here hoppy - you already selected Zulu for w/e 11Apr.
My botw for w/e 18Apr is also Trashy Blonde.

Sorry, if you don't say BotW somewhere in it I don't add it.
