I can't get onto these forums while out and about, so will say that yesterday I was drinking in York Tap, Maltings, Judges Lodgings, Pivni and Sutlers, and a grand day it was too.

More of the same today. They have an ale trail leaflet with rewards being perks for York beer festival in September. Half pints get a stamp in each listed pub.
Alcohol doesn't solve problems .... but then again, neither does milk.

Back on the Cumberland today yesterday was the first time I'd ever been to a cricket match what a day

Well, it seemed to work yesterday, so for God's sake stay on it today. Must have been quite a day for you, yesterday.

What a day indeed Hondo, a fortunate introduction to test match cricket (live). Quite remarkable today too!
Just back from lunch out, and finishing a Jaipur (bottled) near Villecroze down in French Var. Kipling next...

How come everyone is having great time except me? I love the cricket but I'm seriously out of touch with it these days. Saturday should be good however, planning a nice walk in Kent involving a few pubs.
    Ok, maybe just for one......................
