    the beer is great too!
What more can you ask for, don't need the video screen but sounds good.

Was there last night - nice pint (with the pour scrutinised via the CCTV feed and served in an oversized glass, which seem quite rare these days).

Sat in the pub with the best, if most implausible, name ever: here.

Wylam, The Boathouse. Yorkshire beer festival on and apparently Thai food at lunch... Which I'll find out shortly.

One for Mudgie, drinking a rather good Draught Bass in the White Star in Liverpool. Here all weekend as we’re avoiding the Tour de Yorkshire or Tour de Fek as we call it. Might do Chester on Sunday as there’s some bloody running about thing on in the ‘Pool then.

Tell us, now, how and when

You sure? the 'rocknroll marathon' is listed as 26 May?
I'm planning to aim for Wigan Sunday, if still standing in the middle of a 3-day endurance test oop North...

I saw no sight of the Thai food unfortunately. Had to make do with a half pint of peanuts in the Dun Cow in Sunderland!
