Another 9 new pubs on Friday. This time at the top end of Oxford Road, Manchester.

Called in a couple more as well, but couldn't get a drink, so I'll not be counting those.

23 new pubs done yesterday in Stanningley,Farsley,Barmley and Armley brings my new pubs done for the year up to 294

18 not reviewed before except the Wetherspoons which two reviews say it is opening as a Wetherspoons.

I had a good crawl yesterday doing pubs in EC3,E1,SW6,SW5,SW3 and SW1,this netted me another 23 new pubs,this brings my new pubs done for the year up to 317.

No pub crawls planned yet but i will no doubt get out to do some later in July.

I don't get to many new pubs now that Ray is less mobile, but do try to get the reviews on within a few days of visiting the pubs. My memory would not cope with 100 pubs, even with notes, and to me it would likely become a chore rather than fun. Visiting pubs and enjoying the beer should never be that!!

If more than a month or so I just back-port the date via subbing the review through the mass migration tool. I have notes taken at the the time so the detail is there, I'm not freestyling the review off the top of me hat.

Something Dave didn't envisage when he devised it but you can always rely on end-users finding interesting uses for functionality...

16 new pubs on a crawl round Shrewsbury last Saturday puts me on 95 . Not bad for the first half of the year.

2 weeks in Scotland to come soon. Can't wait!!
