Enjoying reading the reviews/reports eg Bay Horse . Disappointing to hear about the hassle in The Swan maybe years of stag/hen and racing groups had soured the couple but prejudice ain't clever and "we're a' Jock Tamson's bairns efter a'".

From what I understood of their rant there were two problems,

firstly they didn't like seventy people invading their pub and forcing the locals to flee into the garden (I'm not sure who the other 50 people were but I didn't see them and the odd couple changed the subject when I pointed out there were about 20 of us).

secondly we weren't absorbing the proper atmosphere of the pub, we brought our our atmosphere with us ( I have a certain sympathy with this view but not much).

Anyway I thanked them for their warm hospitality as we left and wondered what professional help they ought to be seeking.
