Totally agree, I love a haggis supper. I put on about a stone over 16 months living in Edinburgh.

I used to live in Dean Village so my downfall was the Italian run chippy on the corner of Queensferry Street and Melville Street which was on the way home from the pub.

They used to open late even in midweek. If they'd closed earlier I would still be relatively slim.

See, it's all someone else's fault.
A pub is for life not just for Christmas

A bit different but not worth a new thread as I dont reckon many of us are jet setters. It seems a case of celebrity chefs ego's before customers needs. Anyone remember Brittania Airways baked beans, sausage and mash in a tinfoil container, served at some ungodly hour after a long flight delay, on the way back from Costa del SomeWhere ? Feeling starved it tasted great and it was a bit of good old Blighty . They never made the mistake of putting custard on your dinner.

I'm sure I have had that lot at a JDW

Good complaint letter though, and nice to see they deflected it by pointing out it was award winning food, I'm not sure I want to know what awards however.

You see "Award Winning Recipe" and such like on tins / boxes / sachets of pet food. I have never been tempted to try them though.
