Visit the a swift one site

Huddersfield CAMRA Oktoberfest organiser Bob Tomlinson has kindly been in touch with the beer list for this year's event, which starts on Thursday.
I was out with a group of people who fortuitously bumped into Bob yesterday and got a lowdown on the 79-strong beer list.
The theme is the white rose beers of Yorkshire against the red rose ales of Hampshire and ones from Sussex.
Mallinsons are flying the white rose flag with County Champs to reflect Yorkshire CC table-topping success.
Meanwhile Bowman Brewery, of Droxford, Hants, have brewed a beer called a Swift One. It's probably just a coincidence but it's going to leave this cricket-loving aswiftone.com scribe with torn loyalties over which one to drink first.
Here's the beer list for Oktoberfest 2014, which runs from 6pm on Thursday, October 2 to 11pm on Saturday, October 4 at the Apna Venue Leisure Centre on Spring Grove Street, Huddersfield. The venue is over the ring road from the bus station, just down the street from The Grove pub.

Cider drinkers will also be well catered for with local producers Pure North and Udders Orchard on show.
