I'm in, just signed the petition. Regarding beer suggestions, it would be easy to rattle off a list of a dozen personal favourites, but I've limited myself to just one in Theakston's Old Peculier, as I feel it taps in nicely to the historical element of the day. Brewed for 125 years, or so, under its current name, it's probably been around for 200 years in one guise or another. When the winter winds are nipping and tugging at your antipodeal regions, it's unbeatable!
