2 Hours 21 minutes for me arriving 12:05. Best deal found so far is on Red Spotted Hanky, £30.70 return.

Now that's more annoying 8 miles in 8 minutes and 2 1/2 in 20 on the bus now that's salt. SH I feel your pain now.

Now available for London to Bristol, and although there is still some doubt over my attendance as I am meant to be supporting an exhibition in Germany all that week, I am hopeful I can find a willing volunteer to cover Friday for me and have bagged a brace for arrival into Templemeads at 12.15AM and departure at 7.30PM.
Fingers crossed, for willing volunteer , no ash clouds, no terrorist alerts or anything else that will bugger up a return to Blighty on Thursday that week

I have got Ealing to Bristol for £29 with 2 changes but saves me the 45 min journey into Paddington and works out slightly quicker as well.Bring it on.

Advanced prices seem to have come down a bit,so I'm booked up arriving at Bristol Temple Meads at 11.15am and departing on the 19.41 back to Paddington and beyond.

I see in my 2015 GBG on p13 that Bristol gets a decent write up as a "Beer Destination" ,one of four cities where "the grip of big brewers has been replaced by flourishing independent producers who offer choice in abundance". Can't wait.

Should be there at 12:05, but probably having travelled the long way round from Waterloo (2 hours 45 minutes) I think I may be slightly thirsty on arrival...
