    Another super day in PuGLand.

Thanks for the excellent guidance from local leadership, thanks to whoever spotted I left my bag behind at some point, thanks for steering me back toward the station (Quinno?) - I'm fairly sure I couldn't have managed that on my own and, yes, thanks for the beer mats - quality indeed!

Great to see some new faces, all fitting seamlessly into the PG tapestry. Good to meet you all.

My potd, the Cornubia. Efficient and friendly service, good beer line-up, welcoming buzzy chatty pubby atmosphere, and memories of a 2am lock-in years back - ill-advised after a 12-pub crawl!

MOTD (mystery of the day) - not having a sweet tooth, how the heck did I end up with a load of chocolate for the train back, and completely forget about the lush slow-roast-pork sarnies I'd brought with me??

Quinno, I thought that guy was just mouthing himself into deeper trouble, didn't realise there was any flailing going on!

A good day out indeed, and it was great to meet everyone and put faces to names at last. We'll definitely try and make the next one.

I have to ask, Jim, what was the crack with the guy in The Cornubia you were chatting to with the blanket over his face!
Or it might have been the Bank Tavern, near the end anyway.

Was a good day and good to put names to faces. My memory ended in the King's Head but my bus ticket home said 22.00....

Also will try to make next one.

POTD The Strawberry Thief where you can avoid the table service.

Cracking day out, lovely to meet so many new faces, finished up with another half dozen or so with Rex today, brekkie with PSM too in the Commercial Rooms. Sadly no decent rucks on the train home to report on, hopefully next time. Never done one of these before but will deffo do again. I like Bristol, been several times before so not too mant new pubs but great still. Nice curry later on too.

I know a guy who regularly gets told to remove his hat in pubs which he refuses to do.He would be more than welcome in the Bank.I reckon it was Gary Glitter having a quiet drink.
