I am looking forward to our blunder round Bristol this Friday.I have just seen a list of pubs and the beers that were on yesterday and looks like we will have a great choice of beers.I thought I had tried a beer on Friday that would have been my 1000th British brewer but after checking up on a few dubious names (not breweries just brands) I found I still need 2 more.Would be nice and memorable if I got them on Friday.Bring it on. cheers john.

    OK, looks good!

Are we going to include Strawberry Thief? If it's not raining too hard I'd like to get a photo, at least.

Someone mentioned to me that the Highbury Vaults, Robin Hood and Colston Yard were worth a look in - are they too much of a walk, being in the university area? And perhaps 14 pubs is enough for most people...

I'd be willing to be led to the Grain Barge, for the purpose of research. (OK, BEER!)

I'll also be missing out on the Knights Templar, as I'm making a weekend of it and need to drop my bag at the hotel before meeting up. Would be useful to know rough arrival times for the Barley Mow and Bridge so I can figure out where I'm most likely to catch up with you all.

Looks like leaving the Spoons around 12:30. If my train's on time, I'll be in the Barley Mow soon after the rest of you.
