It depends on people's priorities (OK, I know the answer to that - BEER!). I was just thinking that the Grain Barge is a very nice spot. Just the sort of place I might take some visitors from out of town...

My mate may also come to.

As Sheffield Hatter said the Google timings for walking are very good the up hill and down Dale trip I did with my dad left me very surprised with the progress we did especially as I was on a pint in every pub.

Think the suggested list is pretty good now. 12.40 from an 11.20 arrival at KT for those getting to Temple Meads at 11.15 is a late arrival IMHO. Can get there with breakfast by 12.15 no problem. Appreciate some other getting there nearer 12 but they may be happy to bypass KT. Suppose now Quinno has given out the bat phone number everyone can ring him for a location update.

Interesting... Depends when it opens on the 14th, and if I'm reading my street map of Bristol correctly, perhaps a scouting party to The Bank Tavern to do an inaugrial visit to The Strawberry Thief will be in order !

This was how it looked on 9th October, may go for an update shot in my lunch hour when back in the office.

OK, clearly didn't explain myself adequately. Calling her Ms Hatter won't do either, it still implies that she is an adjunct to me, rather than a person in her own right. Please call her Catia.
