    Here I go..

I went to Tamworth FC's clubhouse and I saw new real ale on called Tetley's Green Shot (4.5% i think) I never heard of it so I had a pint..

On my first sip, first thing I noticed is it's bitterness but not too hoppy and quite happy to drink one or two pint but not session beer for me. Slight hint of plum or something similar.

Going to Sutton Coldfield later to sample beers at Bottle of Sack, Dukes Inn and few pubs I haven't decided yet.

Had a couple of pints of Mallinsons Grand Canyon on Tuesday which was pretty good.

Very Mild Monkey from Brass Monkey didn't hit the spot for me but Spring Frenzy from Daleside was pretty good as well.

Plenty of time left yet though.

Had a excellent pint of Black Hole's Milky Way which was really good. Very silky and milky. Bit like drinking alcoholic milk but without usual white colour. Only problem is their strength 6%! (at The Bole Bridge)

Adnams' Broadside at The Station, Sutton Coldfield is not too bad either but bit fullish flavour and bit too heavy for me. Nice for couple of pints.

Still tonight's dart premier league in B'ham and Barwell on Sat to come...

I found 2 beers I really liked at the Walsall festival last night.

    Tirril 1823 4.1%
    Bushy's Manx Pride 4.2%

Excellent festival. Bushy's probably got the edge over Tirril.

Well back from quickish trip to Oakengates , Ironbridge Founders Gold , Ironbridge Pale Ale , White Rose Gecko Beach , Salamander Gung Ho , Bobs Brewery Ostara , Abbeyvale Absolution and Lymestone Stonecutter .
Salamander Gung Ho is well in the lead despite the dodgy pumpclip , a bloke hamering a nail up his own nose

It had been a quiet week up until Thursday when I spotted Jaipur IPA at a pub near work and risked a couple at lunchtime. Back in the evening for a couple more then thought I should be sensible, so down graded to Ringwood Fortyniner. That run out after two pints and by that stage I didn't really care so had another Jaipur. Rounded it off with a mate at Euston with two pints of Pale Rider.

An excellent days drinking but I paid for it the next day.

I'm off for a beer shortly but there'll have to be something really special to beat the Jaipur IPA.

Just one more possible BOTW this week..

Stadler's Staggered Badger (4.9%) Very sharp and hoppy but pleasant finish. Had it in Bole Bridge.

Black Hole's Milky Way looking like BOTW at the moment. I am off to Bole Bridge soon to see if they install new real ales.
