    Kent, Sir:hops, cherries...and Larkins.
Larkins-Traditional 3.4%abv. Not so much of the signature toffee, but raspberries and a long bitter finish.A classic session beer. My BOTW

    Small list this week,
    Darkstar Hophead 3.8%
    Darkstar American Pale Ale 4.7%
    Mash Mash Bitter 3.9%
    Surrey Hills Greensand IPA 4.6%
    Windsor & Eton Eton Boatman4.3%

The Eton Boatman was in top condition enjoyed in The Bricklayers Arms, and is BOTW.
A trip to Brighton next Friday should help provide a longer list next week.

A modest selection this time. The week was summed up when I went into one of my local Spoons yesterday to find THREE of the six guests were World Cup beers. Even the Brodie's Wimblebore beer was supposed to be a World cup one but got rebadged after England's triumphant exit. Maybe when that incredibly dull Scotsman gets thrashed they'll change it to a Commonwealth Games beer. It's just the Kiwi beer with a load of tropical fruit flavouring. To be honest I prefer the original.

    Brodie's Wimbledon 3.8%
    Butcombe Gold 4.4%
    Wharfebank Lanterne Rouge 4.4%
    Naylor's Citradelic 4.4%
    Purity Pure UBU 4.5%
    Hopcraft Bikini Attol 4.5%
    Portobello Market Porter 4.6%
    Brodie's Old Street Pale 5.0%
    RCH East street Cream 5.0%
    Hopcraft Citraic 5.2%
    Elgood's Greyhound 5.2%

The easy winner was Hopcraft Bikini Attol and this isn't even one of their top three beers IMO. It's a medium strength pale hop bomb and was £2.60 in the Leyton William IV.
I'm hoping for better things next week.

    A half decent week.

    Mc Mullens -- Cask
    Mc Mullens -- Shreiv'ale
    Saltaire -- Elderflower Blonde
    Marble -- Lagonda IPA
    Marble -- Dobber
    Summer Wine -- Diablo IPA
    Siren Craft -- Undercurrent
Celt Experience -- Double Dose (Collaboration with Indy-Man)

The Marble beers were not on top form,so BOTW goes to Saltaire Elderflower Blonde taken in The Old Barge,Hertford.Interesting and an easy quaff on a sunny day.

End of this week back in Huddersfield and then boating through Wakefield and Brighouse, while the following week completes the journey over the Rochdale Canal to Manchester.Should guarentee some very good BOTW contenders.
