What a rubbish list, they are all in London and I would put the Hamilton Hall and Metropolitan ahead of the Victoria JDW. That's the only one I've been to and I've only once had a beer there. Last time I went was when the Willow Walk was closed. I got through 5 cups of coffee under the JDW free refill before 14:00 scheme. I once saw a bloke there drinking bottles of Newcastle Brown with large whisky chasers at 08:00 on a Saturday morning.

I've been in all apart from the Betjemen Arms ,but only the Euston Tap and Parcel Yard were memorable.

I'm pleased that I've not been to any of the Sports Bar contenders. I'm assuming that the Greenwood in London is NOT the new Northolt Spoons!

Four of the beer pubs, not Temple Brew or the Drawing Board, otherwise just The Harlequin in Sheffield (but not for cider), the Rose & Crown in St Albans (in 1980) and Pleased to Meet You in Newcastle (for a wedding reception last year). I suspect the Durham Ox in York is actually the one in Crayke rather a long way from York, I haven't been in but I know it's more of a restaurant than anything else.

What a strange (unthought through list)
    I've done the following
    Temple Brewhouse- very good
    Wenlock Arms - excellent
    Star Inn - good
Fox and Hounds (assuming the Caversham one) - very good
Snow Goose - what a laugh, this place is a dump
Red Lion and Sun - passable but nothing special

so that's six, I have photographed the Rose and Crown St Albans but didn't go in.
