Had most of these but not a fan of Belgian beer .Not tried many Cantillon as I hate sour beers but surprisingly rate the Rodenbach as a great beer.Noticed they did not include Westvleteren 12 recognised as probably the best beer in the world. No I have not had it.At the bottom of the list is a quiz on world beers.10/10 for me.(smug)

9 out of 10 0n the quiz amazingly, just making a wrong guess on the Bintang.

I love Belgian beers so I've had them all except the Corsendonk Pater Noster, the stronger Bush and the weaker Westvleteren. Lambics, Krieks and wheat beer hold no terrors for me, they're mostly well made beers that are far better than some of the cloudy tripe turned out by bearded, tattooed men in this country. As has been pointed out most of the Belgian beers are easily available in the UK, and they missed out Chimay White and McChouffe as well, a far better drink than La Chouffe IMHO. I got 90% on the quiz, due to a bad guess on Bintang as well.

Last night I had a Stone "Go to IPA" and that was s#1t3; like eating a burger fried in sweat.

Yes that's the one! I remember buying a load in an Antwerp supermarket for peanuts compared to Belgian bars or CAMRA festivals. That was around 25 years ago.

I got a pathetic 5/10 for the World Beer Quiz, even got Tiger wrong as I thought it was Indian. I was once given a case of Chinese lager by a bloke from Chingford.

None of these, not really surprising as I don't really go for spiced beers. I had the Sheps Christmas Ale last December and it was foul, but might well have been off, as other comments were reasonably favourable.

None of the above either, and don't like the sound of any, other than the Weird Beard one.

The Sheps one rings a bell with me but that's about it. I had a Welton's offering today called Hogspudding which started off OK but after around half of it the very strong spice flavour (cinnamon & cloves at a guess) became overpowering and unpleasant. On the other hand a weak (3.8%) ELB brew that would normally fly under my radar was superb all the way down. It was called Three Kings
