    Yes. It reopened recently. It used to be the monthly meet-up point for my pubs' group; a nice simple place with beef stew, a decent ale and Arsenal on the TV (obviously) come matchdays. all to an older crowd.
    I went in a couple of months back and it was like a bear pit, overrun with local youth on alcopops and cocktails in the gloom, with loud music and many congregating loudly on the pavement. The locals complained and it was shut down, their excuse was that this is how you have to run pubs now to make ends meet, that some old boy sipping a pint all day won't pay the bills; I think they may sadly have a point.
