A list of London pubs from a 1966 guide called Offbeat in London, written by Geoffrey Fletcher - see Boak & Bailey.

A slightly disappointing 51% for me.
34 at a skim. It's a classic list of "name the pubs near where I live" - Dalston, Hackney etc very Nathan Barley.

3% for me, all years ago, so not reviewed. Where in the 'ell is Dalston?

It's between Islington and Hackney. Was an absolute pit 10-15 years ago but is being gentrified in a manner similar to Hoxton. It's where the meeja types live, suckling off their trust fund.

Quite so. Many on this list aren't brilliant, but these come to mind. Otherwise, it's 65 for me.

    Clissold Park Tavern
    Three Crowns
    Thomas Cubitt
    The Blind Beggar
    Harwood Arms
    The Mitre

    And especially...

    The Woodman

Yes. It didn't have a good reputation, especially round Dalston Junction which we passed on the 2017 38 Bus Crawl, taking in Farr's School of Dancing.

Ha ha! A quick skim through got me to about 14 to 16.
    Agreed on The Dickens.
I gained about six pubs I'd forgotten I'd been to by cross referencing former reviews, brain cell alert!

A quick skim says 8-9, but I'm sure a few names have been lost in the mists of time.

A skim from me and I reckon I've visited around 41 of them.

Somewhere over 60 on a quick flip through, although I reckon I might have a few more under original names.

it does actually seem to have more of the good ones than the typical London list, along with the predictable dross, but I suppose that is more likely with 100 to choose from.
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement
