To be honest I have a soft spot for biker or rock pubs too even if i don’t always feel that comfortable in them. They have character when many/most pubs don’t

I have always liked rock music (although I am more of an "Indie Kid") so I like a good rock pub. Had some great weekends at Donington back in the day.

Agree, but sadly this isn't always true: The Unicorn

The "Toughest Pub" category is a little alarming.
Not sure how much credibility this list has, seeing as one of the entries appears to have been a Mexican restaurant for some time!
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement

Love John's comment in his review, before he then gave the place a generous 5!!

I always had a bit of a soft spot for this pub in Oxford when it was a rock pub known as The Gloucester Arms. Had a decent jukebox too.

I thought next door's The Red Lion was once the metalheads'/bikers' inn of choice, with the famous jukebox?
