Default 12 of the oldest pubs in Yorkshire.

Embarrassingly, I've only been to six of them. (Chequers, Bingley Arms, Green Dragon, Tan Hill Inn, Whitelocks, Ye Olde White Harte). A couple of trips to Sheffield and York are in order.

Equally embarrassing, I've only been to six as well, (Sun Inn, Tan Hill, Ye Olde Starre, Whitelocks, Ye Olde Whyte Harte, Golden Fleece). So it's Sheffield for me sometime.

    Covid19! is one by name
    It comes from the East

Just three for me:Chequers, frequently; Green Dragon, due a return trip, and Tan Hill: once was enough, unfortunately.Dunno why we missed the York pubs.

Not quite so embarrassing for me: seven. Sun, Green Dragon, Tan Hill, Old Queens Head, Olde Starre Inn, Whitelocks, Olde White Harte. And four of those only once each.

But I've never been to the Nailmakers, the only excuse being a pathetic one: I went to take a photo in 2011 and it wasn't open. I lived in Leeds for 12 years before I moved to Sheffield and must have driven past or near enough to both the Bingley Arms and the Chequers (on the A58 and A63 respectively) on numerous occasions without ever darkening their doors. Never (quite) been to Ripponden - got as far as Greetland once. And as for the Golden Fleece, I had it marked down as a tourist honeypot, so always walked by on the other side. (Didn't stop me going in the Olde Starre before I became a pub snob, though.)

Sorry, chaps. Your Yorkshire contingent hangs its collective head in shame.

Surprisingly I got one, Ye Olde White Harte, can't say it floated my boat though.

Another London list, a good mix of pub styles this time, anyway 32/50 for me.

36/50, with all but two already on the 'to visit' list (now rectified)...

Four for me in the 1970s the Tan Hill Inn (it sold Wathey's Red!) and the Whitelocks, Ye Olde Starre in the 1980s and Ye Olde White Hart which I reviewed and was underwhelmed by!
