I've been to a Sportsman in Kent, but I don't think that they mean the one in Strood!

Not a single one.

I have to join this chorus of nul points

I've been to one! It's the Square and Compasses at Fuller Street in Essex. It's outside the Ridley's "Golden Triangle" so I would have only been to it twice. It's one of the superb ex Ridley's rural pubs that they didn't manage to close nor did GK afterwards. I recall trying to see if it's accessible by bus and concluding that it wasn't. It really is in the middle of nowhere!
I've drunk in 4 but not eaten in any over the last 30 years and that doesn't include the 2 nearest to me (General Tarlton and Star at Harome). All those I know are remorselessly foody and I wouldn't call them pubs.
Entry to this guide is by subscription of course.
Surprised how few London pubs featured as it seems to be gastro-pub central.Been to the Camberwell Arms, very busy with diners but easy to get a drink only and I gave it a 7 so decent pub imo. Also been to the Harwood Arms sw6 but it was a locals pub then and you were more likely to get gastro-enteritis than gastro food.
