6.
Devonshire didn't look like that last time I was there, admittedly some time ago.
They didn't give KIT its own entry?
5 for me but could have been 6 if the Bath had not refused to serve us for being too boisterous (drunk in their opinion).
Yes, on that basis I'd be on 11/11 of course. And I'm mystified that they suggest (in the paragraph below the Beer House) trying the Walkley Beer Co while ignoring the excellent Ecclesall Ale Club. But I join them in recommending the Itchy Pig.
I've been reading some of the BTL comments on the Graun. Amazing the number of people who will comment without having either read or understood the article. Proposing pubs that have either long since closed or which were/are attached to large and well established traditional breweries. Or both. And pubs that they vaguely remember from their student days, a good two or three decades before the expression "craft beer" first dripped from the end of an advertising copywriter's pen.
Come On You Hatters!
I'm sad and disappointed that you haven't read my review of 7th December 2016. (We generally refer to it as the Dev Cat, to avoid confusion with other pubs called Devonshire.)
This, and the fact that most of the recommendation of the Fat Cat is taken up with a description of the KIT, is either sloppy journalism or a deliberate attempt to stoke up the turf war between these two pubs which are situated a mere stone's throw apart (as you can determine for yourself the next time you are in Sheffield; please bring your own stones).
Come On You Hatters!
Must get out more, none.
