I have followed the Deserter blog and twitter for a few years.Its a fun blog by 2 se London wide boys so they have stuck to their own manor.Only been in a few but the Kentish Drover is a dump imo.

yeah the Rockingham is pretty dire and another one who,s name escapes me is the one in Stoke Newington.Find most Spoons pleasant enough and quite happy to drink in them for the range of tinned,bottled and keg beers .Its a shame that more of the managers are happy to put drossy beers on the cask pumps.The Kings Tun has the best range of cask beers I have experienced and I could happily spend a few hours in there.
It's the Rochester Castle where they originally called it the Tanners Hall as the Rochester Castle had such a bad name. It's an original pub and CAN be OK but last time I was there it was pretty awful.

I've been meaning to get back to Woolwich as there is the Antic place in the old Building Society and the Hop Stuff tap. There's also the 51 bus for a micropub tour.
