    Well, I've managed a couple:
    Kilder, Birmingham
    Sunflower, Belfast

And the rest aren't a complete write-off, with some of the more promising being:
    The Kenton, Homerton
Dylans - Kings Arms, St Albans
    Junkyard, Nottingham
    Con Club, Altrincham
    Ravensgate Arms, Ramsgate
    The Thatch, Thame
    Roseleaf, Leith
    Kiwi's Brew Bar, Portrush
    Northern Lights, Belfast

The Thatch, Thame for me, it wasn't actually the pub I was thinking of in Thame after doing all the pubs in the town one evening on the way to Southend in 2015.

In 1982 Michael Jackson(the beerhunter) published a list of the 50 best beers in the world. Here are the British ones
    breakspeare -pale ale
    courage -imperial Russian stout
    fullers -esb
    gales -prize old ale
    Whitbread-gold label
    mackeson
    marstons -pedigree
    marstons old roger
    Highgate -mild
    Thomas hardy ale
    Belhaven -80/_
    traquair house
    Guinness extra stout
    Guinness -foreign extra stout
in 1982 I had drank only 4 of them
now all but Whitbread gold label and courage imperial stout
Beer landscape has changed somewhat since 1982
