    I went to the Bear in Crickhowell in March of 1979, long before my daughters were of this planet, so no family walks were involved. They have been to the Old Dungeon Ghyll with me, though, so I claim two (or if you must quibble, just the one). It's a pretty esoteric list, isn't it.

    I wouldn't be surprised if each region was told to come up with a pub and then ten in the more popular walking areas were picked. I don't think there are two in the same region
