None here, though I may well have been in the Cambridge Blue many years ago.

I'm pretty sure it's been going over 30 years. It used to have two bars and the old public bar on the right was one of the earliest No Smoking areas. I seem to recall it had a tie with Nethergate brewery.

None for me and apart from the 2nd pub the criteria is a bit flimsy. But I'm not a fan of Christmas so what do I know?

Just the Churchill. A virtual local, yet I've only been in it once in the last eight-and-a-half years; I can't for the life of me think why I was so generous with the marking?

I've been in five: Clachnaharry, Fighting Cocks, Ship Inn, Cumberland Arms & Cambridge Blue.

Actually, make that six: I didn't recognise the Churchill Arms with all the lights. This is what I looked like that night:

Five I think: the Churchill, Cambridge Blue, the Bevy (when it was the Bevendean), the Fighting Cocks and the Alex, which was the office local when I worked in Wimbledon a very long time ago.
On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement

Staying here by any chance? Then cocktails with Wills and Kate at Kensington Palace?

Couldn't get the Streetview link to work, but the pointer seemed to be on the Royal Garden Hotel, which was indeed where we were staying. Ghastly corporate do, my employers requiring a corporate pat on the back and coercing us employees to do the patting. All expenses paid, but me and the two colleagues pictured had a hard time pursuading them to pay the hire charges for the tuxedos. I said, you pay or we're not going. So they paid.

We went to the Churchill before getting changed, but during the event I couldn't stand it any longer and slipped out (in full fig) to the Prince of Wales just round the corner, where nobody batted an eyelid so it's obviously not unusual.
