Will see you and Ray at Banbury Gill. Reading was OK(?),I found a lot of the beer to be lacking in bite and condition.

We enjoyed the beers at Reading and was only disappointed with a 3.4% one that didn't seem to have anything going for it. Liverpool One Session. Took one back that had come to the end of the barrel. We disagreed on North Riding Peasholme by night as I found it ok but Ray didn't like it.

Will be at Banbury for noon Friday and Saturday but have to leave for the last bus before 6pm or face a long walk back to the caravan site.
Alcohol doesn't solve problems .... but then again, neither does milk.

We had a few issues with the heat in the tents - a few casks exploded and the beer went quicker than normal despite a lot of watering...

    Tom Cobley - lucky you!
Was closed for the weekend (for staff beano) when I tried to book a room a coupla years back when it would have completed my nap hand of that year's four camra finalists. It remains firmly on the target list although accessability makes for a tricky mission.
Two days later a pal sent a photo from the pub cellar, with a note saying they had 'only' 18 beers on, just to rub it in...

Portsmouth yesterday, £1ew on megabus/train & allowed to remain in 1st class on way back, for card table.
We missed out what should be a real mission pub, Hole in the Wall, due to the ludicrous policy of not opening until 16:00, even on a Saturday! The other 8 contributed to a rather foggy outlook today.

Some footy or other happening next Saturday and this ticketless wanderer is likely to end up in Brighton for a Hophead-y warm up, prior to Fishersgate (Stanley Arms) for the main event.

    A post-work trip to a Belgo.

I fear that some of the party will order Stella. In this unfortunate event, am I within my rights to publicly denounce the culprits?

    ... or warn their wives?

Maybe one should merely have sympathy for both...
