"Do I know where hell is? hell is in hello"
Ah, 'White Horse' is the local CAMRA branch name (Vale of White Horse). Wantage-wise, I've only been to those 2 plus the Bear (not-so-good but that was a good while back). It's a quaint little town and worth a crawl round on a sunny day. As far as I'm aware, it's Didcot and (perhaps) Oxford/Swindon bus-wise.
I've been in all the Wantage town centre pubs (Oct2010) and it's great if you like Greene King's version of Morland so apart from the SOM and RO I wouldn't bother, it is better than Brackley however. I would like to see how the SOM has come on though.
A trip up town for me on Saturday the 15th of this month.
King William1V ,
Maybe a look in the Drum,if I can control my JDW phobia

Then hopefully off to check out the reborn Wenlock Arms.

All my 'new' hits in the first four pubs. 'OMG Totes Amazeballs', as the yoof say.
Off to la belle France, demain, flying down to Lyon, then beyond, but luckily sent a couple of dozen bottles of Bitter&Twisted, Boondoggle, Oxford Gold, down in the car with advance raiding party...
A bientot, mes amis...
I'll be staying with family in little lever for 5 days next week before 3 days in Prestatyn. Any pub visit ideas would be much appreciated.
WE ARE THE BREADMEN - UP THE BEES
A crawl round Birmingham and a visit to a Hop Farm on the agenda this weekend, then off to Chertsey so we can have a few days at Egham USC beer festival, then a day trip down to Olympia for GBBF.
A week near Nottingham beckons too so we can buy advance tickets for Nottingham festival, so may as well have a run round some of the drinking establishments while there. Think the next one after that is Minehead, closely followed by a break at Barnard Castle en route to York for a few days for the beer fest there.
Alcohol doesn't solve problems .... but then again, neither does milk.
I dont think you will find that many pubs in Prestatyn,i went there with the good wife while having a holiday in Rhyl,we only found five places to drink in and only two were proper pubs, the Cross Foxes and Railway.
We even asked another older couple who were wandering round the town if there were any more pubs about, the bloke said "we have been looking for a pub for the last half hour with no luck".
Conway has got a good gaggle of pubs we did about 9 pubs there and Bangor also had a good few pubs, dont bother with Colwyn Bay either just as bad as Prestatyn hardly any pubs there.
