    Angry The one got away!

I was talking to one of my friends and he said he has tried a Tactical Nuclear Penguin at Sir Robert Peel last weekend.. my heart sank! It was special occasion, Peel's landlord celebrated his wedding anniversary and decided to open a single bottle Penguin (poured into 25ml of shot glasses )to all drinkers.

Oh well.. there is always next time eh?

Strangely enough I gave the details of TNP to one of my local pubs as they specialise in strong beers and they are looking into the possibilty of getting in a couple of bottles. At £32 a bottle it could be an expensive tasting.

I've never tried any brewdog beers but they certainly know how to get publicity

I enjoy the Brewdog beers and chose them if I see them. Nanny State at 1.1% didn't have enough bite for me though. Would like to try a shot of TNP if I get a chance. At 32% or thereabouts it must be like sherry.

The Brewery Tap on Sheffield's Platform 1 was showcasing Brewdog beers alongside their Thornbridge range about a month ago, and we managed to grab a couple of new brews between trains.

TNP was nice the second time around. I'm not bothering to get StB, but if anyone offers I'll have a sample. I would like to try Tokyo* at some point. I'll probably get some for the tutored tasting we're doing.
